Looking to make a difference in our community and give back to community members in need? At Peace by Piece Cleveland, we offer an array of volunteer opportunities for community members, from high schoolers and college students interested in social work, non-profit organizations, and human services to local professionals looking to provide vocational instruction and advice in their respective career fields.

Currently, our two main volunteer opportunities are listed below. If you are interested in volunteering but cannot commit to the below opportunities, please contact us – we would be happy to have you in whatever capacity you can volunteer.

Adult Day Services (ADS) Program Volunteer
Our Adult Say Services Program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm and provides an array of educational and therapeutic services for the community members that we serve; as a volunteer, you can help with administering our various services. Our program, among other things, includes art and music therapy classes, adaptive fitness classes, and nutritional guidance courses aimed at fostering our community members’ personal growth. In this position, volunteers can tailor their volunteer work to their own interests.

Vocational Habilitation Program Volunteer
Our Vocational Habilitation program prepares individuals to enter the workforce at entry-level positions throughout Cuyahoga County, equipping them with the vocational skills they need to succeed. We are currently seeking local professionals in an array of career fields to talk about their specific careers, instruct vocational skills, and/or provide advice about gaining entry-level employment in their field.

Group Volunteering
For any school groups or professional offices looking for a group volunteering experience, PBPC would be happy to accommodate you. Please contact our executive director, David Fox, for more information.

Volunteer Requirements
Our volunteer program is open to any qualified individual interested in giving back in our field. To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Background check (BCI & FBI)
  • Complete PBPC organization training

If you have any questions about volunteering at PBPC, please contact David Fox.

If you cannot currently volunteer your time, please consider donating to our organization in another capacity.
